Criminal Justice Stakeholders Meeting

CAPCOG is conducting this online stakeholder meeting to gather input for its Regional Strategic Criminal Justice Plan and the region’s funding priorities for the plan year 2022. The plan and the funding priorities guide how the CAPCOG Criminal Justice Advisory Committee selects project funding recommendations for six Office of the Governor Criminal Justice grant programs.

During the 2-hour meeting, stakeholders will receive a presentation on the upcoming year and discuss the region’s priorities.

The six grant program areas include:

  • the Criminal Justice Program (JAG)
  • the General Victim Assistance Direct Services Program (VOCA)
  • the Juvenile Justice & Truancy Prevention Grant Program (JJ)
  • the Residential and Community-Based Services for Victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children
  • Sexual Assault Forensic Exam (SAFE)- Ready Facilities Program
  • the Violence Against Women Justice and Training Program (VAWA)

CAPCOG also is conducting an online survey for stakeholder input. It is recommended that criminal justice stakeholders complete the survey and join the online meeting. The survey deadline is Sept. 27, 2020.
