Basic Instructor, TCOLE #1014
This professional skill development course is for peace officers desiring to earn a TCOLE Instructor Certificate.
Students will receive instruction on the theory of the learning process while practicing how to write learning objectives and develop teaching materials and lesson plans. This is an intense, time consuming course. Students should be prepared for homework. The student should also be proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint; students must bring a laptop to class with PowerPoint capabilities and must have access to a printer for homework assignments.

Attendee must bring their PID # to receive TCOLE credit for courses affiliated with CAPCOG. To promote a professional environment, CAPCOG requires proper business casual attire. T-shirts, shorts, capri pants, and flip-flops are prohibited. No meals provided with training.
Participants will receive 40 TCOLE hours for taking this course.
