Criminal Justice Stakeholders Meeting

CAPCOG is conducting an in-person stakeholder meeting to gather input for its Regional Strategic Criminal Justice Plan and the region’s funding priorities for plan year 2024. The plan and the funding priorities guide how the CAPCOG Criminal Justice Advisory Committee selects project funding recommendations for the five Office of Governor, Criminal Justice Division grant programs.

During the 2-hour meeting, stakeholders will receive a presentation on the upcoming year and discuss the region’s needs and priorities.

The five grant program areas include:

  • the Criminal Justice Program (JAG)
  • the General Victim Assistance Direct Services Program (VOCA)
  • the Juvenile Justice & Truancy Prevention Grant Program (JJ)
  • the Residential and Community-Based Services for Victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSE)
  • the Violence Against Women Justice and Training Program (VAWA)

Read last year’s strategic plan and find out more about the grant process.
