Downloading Skimmer Data # 3371

******Prerequisites: Online Gas Skimmer Investigations #3371 must be taken before this hands-on downloading skimmer data class can be taken.  The prerequisite class is a free, online class that can be taken from most devices at the following link: https://capcog.litmos.com/self-signup/ .  Then enter your name, email and CODE = Skim3371. You will then need to set up your account with a user name, password, PID, etc. (Fields with asterisks cannot be left blank).

This Downloading skimmer data class will cover the recommended procedures to download information from skimmers found in gas pumps. It will include how to open the skimmer and how to see the information that has been obtained illegally. Students will need to bring the following materials to class:

SMAKN USB Programmer CH341A Series Burner Chip 24 EEPROM BIOS LCD

Writer 25 SPI Flash ($10.90 on Amazon)

Signstek SOIC8 SOP8 Flash Chip IC Test Clips Socket Adapter Programmer BIOS

($11.99 on Amazon)

Parser program will be provided by instructor. The equipment listed is recommended

but not necessary to receive credit. This course is 4 hours of TCOLE Credit.
