Law Enforcement - Threat Liaison Officer

The Threat Liaison Officer (TLO) Basic course is a four-hour class designed to provide an overview of the Austin Regional Intelligence Center Threat Liaison Officer (ARIC TLO) Program. The training program is designed for line-level, law-enforcement personnel who have the ability, background, and desire to share and receive pertinent information regarding criminal and terroristic threats at the local, state, and national level. This training will allow the TLO to have access to all relevant resources available through the information sharing network and will cover the following topics:

• ARIC Overview
• 1st Amendment Protections
• Suspicious Activity Indicators
• Reporting Suspicious Activity
• Scenarios

This course is limited to law enforcement personnel only.
