This free workshop is for nonprofit, healthcare and government professional care managers. It provides an overview of the many services and resources provided by the Area Agency on Aging of the Capital Area and the Aging and Disability Resource Center of the Capital Area.

  • Nutrition and Senior Center Supports
  • Information and Referral Services for Persons with Disabilities and older Adults
  • Care Coordination
  • Caregiver Support
  • Medication Screening
  • Long-Term Care Application Process
  • Health and Wellness Education Programs
  • Ombudsman Services for Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities

This workshop is hosted by the YMCA of Greater Williamson County with the Support of Faith in Action, Georgetown.

Special Instructions:

This course is open to all to register, but especially targeted to professionals who help older adults.

While designed for care managers from nonprofits, healthcare, and government agencies, this workshop benefits a variety of groups from other service providers and referral partners to include law enforcement officers, government administrators, city planners, firefighters, hazardous materials teams, public works personnel, and community and residential volunteers.
