The goal of this course’s curriculum is to provide students with a knowledge and understanding of how the implementation of recommended protocols, or best practices, can improve the accuracy and reliability of eyewitness evidence.
Peace officers performing the function of eyewitness identification, as designated by their agency, must first complete the Eyewitness Identification course, beginning Jan. 1, 2018 (Rule 218.3(d)).

Attendee must bring their PID # to receive TCOLE credit for the courses affiliated with CAPCOG. To promote a professional environment, CAPCOG requires proper business attire. T-shirts, capri pants and flip-flops are prohibited. No meals provided.
